    Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Old Town Guest House in Colorado Springs, CO. The innkeepers were lovely and hospitable, breakfasts delicious as well as afternoon wine and snacks. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable with fabulously comfortable beds. The Inn is perfectly located in Old Town Colorado City with restaurants and shops right around the corner. I would highly recommend this B & B if you need accommodations in this area.

    The Bed & Breakfast we'd reserved for our wedding night was a major disappointment -- there was no one there to check us in, and no one would answer the phone. I was tired, frustrated, hungry, and ready to scream at the first person I found. Old Town Guesthouse was the first B&B we found, and they had rooms available, so we decided to try it out. It was AMAZING! Not only beautiful rooms and a great view, but those little things that make a huge difference: a basket of teddy bears on the stair landing, in case you "need a friend for the night", and in the 10-15 minutes before we arrived, Levi had run upstairs to write us a welcome on the mantle. Don & Shirley are super-friendly, and the whole staff is amazingly helpful. The building is gorgeous, and in a beautiful part of town that I never knew existed. I wouldn't stay anywhere else, now that we know this is here.

    My Husband and I just stayed at OTGH and it was perfect! Don and Shirley really make your stay special and make you feel like you are in your own home! Attention to detail is everywhere! Thanks Don & Shirley!!!

    We were treated with kindness and consideration. The rooms were lovely, as was the house. We met several other couples, all enjoying the stay! The breakfasts were incredible! Thanks to Dave and Kim for a wonderful time!

    Recently stayed one night. The place was very beautiful and well decorated. The cookies in the parlor were available all hours. The breakfast was quite tasty and satisfying. The cleanliness of the place would pass the white glove test. An elevator was easily available for those used to having to climb stairs. Our room had a private out door hot tub with views of pikes peak and the garden of the Gods. The room was quiet for sleeping except for the cycling ac, but that is the usual when each room has its own ac. I know I could have turned it off! The owners were very friendly. If in Colorado springs this would be my go to place again.

    I love this place!!!! Best vacation in town ever. The breakfast was amazing and the innkeepers were very nice. I will be visiting again. Thank you for everything and making our birthday special

    I was greeted personally by the owner upon entering whom then proceeded to help me to my room and make sure very detail was taken care of, even offering a glass of wine once I was settled in. Would highly recommend this establishment, if for nothing else than the service. The amenities were top notch as well, very clean and everything you could need, including steam showers in most of the rooms (probably my favorite feature).

    We had a wonderful stay in 2001 when the original proprietors operated it. Unfortunately we couldn't duplicate that experience this past week. The online vendor issued a confirmation # via e-mail & charged our credit card, but the property had no record of our reservation. The error wasn't discovered until we arrived. Mistakes happen in an imperfect world and customers rely on business owners' experience and professionalism to trouble-shoot & resolve. An unpleasant exchange could have been avoided if the owners said, "This error has occurred before & we'll be on-site in a few minutes to straighten it out with our vendor." Instead we were subjected to a lengthy phone conversation with them & the front desk, conflicting information, then defensive diversion tactics and implication that everything wrong was OUR fault. We noted their frazzled employee greeted us with a semi-opened door, a barking dog, not asking our names, told us check-in was at 2pm. We came back at 2pm & were told there wasn't a reservation on file. We were exhausted from the day's travel and exhibited disappointment & aggravation with their unprofessional business acumen. After the rude, insulting, comments and tone from the owners we called the vendor and canceled, citing irreconcilable differences. We anticipate the owners will respond to this post, and they'll once again blame it on the guest. We can only hope they'll be accountable for their own short comings and failure to handle an error they've dealt with in the past. If not, then travelers beware.

    this review reflects the new owners we have been going to the old town guest house many many years we have always went to get away and went especially for the hot tub rooms ! and we only live about 5 blocks away so we were true loyal customers well the last time we stayed was horrible we will not go back ! first let me start off with these rooms are $300 a night we go to the wine hour and there is old snacks left out from the night before hard cookies old stale pretzels and cursed looking trail mis they leave it in the book room all night and don't cover it !!! and just refill it at the next wine hour very disgusting and rude ( i know because i saw it sit there all evening it was still there at midnight and into the next day not why i am paying $300 dollars a night next we ordered the hot tub room just to use the hot tub we came back from dinner and turned it on and it worked for about 2 min it shorted out we called the man and he tried to fix it but said we should let it sit for a hour in case of electrical problems ( like the hazard of getting electrocuted !!! i was like is this real i told him thats the only reason we come there ??? he didn't offer a different room just said try in a hour ok so next we tried to use the wifi it didn't work , we also use the wifi all the time and need it for our work we called the owners 3 times that night they didn't seem to care that it wasn't working or understand what we kept asking for another passcode because the one they gave us wasn't working so we tried the hot tub again not working !!!! i just went to bed i was so upset they next morning i called at 6 am to get it working so i could use it before check out the man told me does not turn on till 9 am because it is above his bedroom and keeps him up !!!! now let me tell u when we checked in we said we are just coming for the hot tub and we stressed this all through our stay like when i called him several times to fix it and when we checked in !!! so i told hime this " would you have put us in a different room or told us this about this room since we told you this is the only reason we come we live 5 blocks away !!!! " so at 9 am i tried again the hot tib turned on but was ice cold !!! so i lots it there and started packing and crying these people didn't seem to care and ran a half assed place , also a couple of the problems i had were the juices and soda they offered were expired and there was no coffee in the room by the coffee pot you had to go into the kitchen to ask and nobody is there !!! i will never go here again !!! its sad because it was our fav place but never again !!! i would rather pay $150 and go to the hilton and use there hot tub by the pool
